Day 12
I was eating lunch at work and looking out the window. I looked down and saw this ladybug on the ledge. It is the only insect that has completely cooporated with me by not moving. Of course it was dead, but hey, you got to take the opportunities when they are presented to you!
It was also positioned so I could rest my macro lens on the ledge as well. I got a nice steady manually focused shot. Thank you dead bug!
Tracked
I took my new 70-300mm lens there to see what I could see. I could see quite a lot, unfortunately I don’t know how to take actual photographs with it. Everything ended up blurry or horribly grainy. This is pretty much the only shot that come out. I need to play with my camera settings to try and fix this. It’s a sweet lens, but if I don’t learn how to use it, it’s useless to me.
Anyway, I love 1000 Islands. I saw eagles and many ducks and took many crappy pictures of them.
